STUDIO ACCESS: Your personal door code will be sent the morning of your rental. It will be active :30 before and after your rental period

COFFEE: the most important element to any shoot…. the Espresso and Drip Coffee are available for your use. Operation details below (KITCHEN)

  • DOOR CODE: It will be the last (7) numbers of your cell phone. XXX - XXXX.

    TO OPEN: enter your unique door code and press the √ “Door Opened”

    TO LOCK UP: Just press and hold the √ until you hear “Door Locked”

    30 MIN GRACE PERIOD: The door code will be activated :30 min before your scheduled start time and be deactivated :30 min after your wrap time

  • 📦 FREIGHT: Two freight elevators provide direct access to the 10th floor for easy equipment transport.

    LOADING DOCK: Two bays are available. Use the designated freight parking zone for cars, vans, and box trucks.

  • CLIENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

    • Studio Setup and Breakdown.

    • Return of all grip equipment to its original location.

    • Any damages to the space or equipment that occur during the rental period.

    STUDIO RULES:

    • No Smoking in the building.

    • No Use of fog machines or pyrotechnics.

    • No CES equipment is permitted to leave studio premises without CES approval.

  • BEHIND ENTRY DOOR: Clothing Rack (hangers at HMU table), Stands, Seamless Paper, Backdrop Stands and Cross bar, Sandbags

    SMALL CLOSET: V Flats, Folding Chairs, 6Ft Folding Tables

    LARGE CLOSET: C-Stands, Grip Heads, Grip Arms , Boom Arm A-Clamps, Super-clamps, Electrical extensions, Scrims, Wind Machine

    CABINET ABOVE SMALL FRIDGE: White boxes hold other miscellaneous grip * Remove with care some are heavy

    TALL CABINET: Printer you can use and Studio Lighting Equipment:T ONLY TO BE USED WITH RENTAL CONTRACT

  • COMMERCIAL PARKING: Available in front of the building from 8 AM – 7 PM. ** Heads up: Non-commercial vehicles may be aggressively ticketed in the area.

  • The studio is equipped with standard 20 amp circuits. We ask that you do not overload the circuits to avoid blowing a fuse.

    FUSE BOX: If you happen to trip a circuit, the fuse box can be found behind the large wall mounted photo- dont worry its on foam and very light:) Lift it off to access the Fuse Box. and LOOK BEFORE YOU RESET. If you have any questions please feel free to call me directly 212-287-1248

    POWER CHARTS:

    Each side of the studio has its own dedicated circuit. HMU Side shares the load of 3 outlets (6 plugs) and the West side of studio also has 3 outlets (6 Plugs)

    🔌 Total Circuit Capacity:

    • A 20-amp circuit at 120 volts = 2,400 watts total

    • For safety and code compliance, the recommended continuous load is 80%:

      • 80% of 2,400W = 1,920 watts usable

    ⚠️ Important Notes:

    • That 1,920 watts is shared across all 6 plugs on the circuit.

    • Plugging in multiple high-draw devices (like strobes, heaters, or hair dryers) can easily trip the breaker.

    • It doesn’t matter how many outlets you have — they all draw from the same 20 amps.

    ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE

    Please monitor your power usage. Overloading a circuit may cause tripped breakers or damage to equipment. CROSSED EYE STUDIOS is not responsible for any damage to your gear due to improper power use.

  • You certainly can use the AC but please be sure to turn off when leaving. $1,000,000 fee if you leave on ;)

  • The kitchen is available for your use and comfort. We have a full fridge to keep any items cool. *Please remove contents when you end rental.

    Espresso Machine: After Powering on machine it will go through a warm up process, which expels water, flushing the system, do not worry :) after the light stop blinking you can select the coffee and hit the > Button to brew! Water receptacle is filtered and can be filled up at the sink by the bathroom.

    PUREWATER: The silver water dispenser is a double staged filter system for clean clear refreshing room temp water. We also have 1-2 containers of this water COLD in the fridge

  • The table surface is collapsible, simply pull up form the bottle to lock in hinges.

    Underneath you will find Hair Dryer and some other standard supplies and tools if you find you need.
